Shipping and Returns

Shipping

Wild Woman Press books are printed to order through IngramSpark, our print-on-demand and fulfilment partner.

This means your book is printed after you place your order rather than being taken from stock held by Wild Woman Press.

Orders are processed for printing and then dispatched through IngramSpark. The time it takes to receive your book will depend on the book, your delivery address and the shipping service available for your order.

You will receive the relevant order and shipping information when your purchase is processed.

Because books are printed to order, please allow a little extra time compared with purchasing a book that is already sitting in a local shop.

If your order seems to be taking unusually long to arrive, please contact us and we’ll look into it.

Returns

Because books are printed specifically when ordered, we don’t accept returns for change of mind.

Please choose your book and delivery details carefully before placing your order.

However, this policy does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If your book arrives faulty, damaged, unsafe, significantly different from its description, or otherwise does not meet the consumer guarantees that apply to your purchase, please contact us.

Depending on the circumstances, we may arrange a replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

If your book arrives damaged, please email us as soon as possible with your order details and, if you can, a photograph showing the problem. This helps us investigate the issue with our fulfilment provider and resolve it as quickly as possible.

Where a problem with an order is covered by Australian Consumer Law, your statutory rights apply regardless of anything else written on this page.

A note about print-on-demand

Print-on-demand means each book is produced individually rather than being printed in bulk and stored by Wild Woman Press.

It’s one of the reasons I can publish small, unusual books without needing a warehouse full of them.

It also means I can’t simply put an unwanted book back on a shelf and send it to someone else, which is why change-of-mind returns aren’t offered.

Questions about an order

If there’s a problem with your order, please contact Wild Woman Press first.

We’ll do our best to sort it out with you.
