What is Wild Woman Press?

Wild Woman Press is an independent Australian press creating small books about ordinary life, women, relationships, family, noticing, remembering and all the things that don’t always make it into bigger stories.

The books are written and published by Jessica Matthews in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria.

Where can I buy the books?

You can find the books through Stories to Gift on this website, as well as through selected stockists.

Some books may also be available through booksellers in Australia and overseas.

Are the books printed in Australia?

Wild Woman Press uses IngramSpark for print-on-demand production and fulfilment. This means books are printed when they are ordered rather than being produced in large batches and stored in a warehouse.

Depending on where your order is being sent, your book may be printed and shipped from the IngramSpark facility best placed to fulfil your order.

How long will my order take?

Because each book is printed to order, there is a little more time between placing your order and receiving it than there would be with a book sitting on a shop shelf.

Orders are generally processed for printing first, then dispatched by the fulfilment service.

Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping service selected. You’ll receive order and shipping information when your order is processed.

Can I send a book directly to someone as a gift?

Yes. Books make particularly nice presents when you don’t have quite the right words yourself.

When ordering, simply enter the recipient’s delivery address.

Can I return a book if I change my mind?

Books are printed to order, so we don’t accept returns simply because you’ve changed your mind.

This doesn’t affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If your book arrives damaged, faulty or significantly different from what was described, please get in touch and we’ll work with you to put it right.

What if my book arrives damaged?

Please email us as soon as you can, ideally with a photograph of the book and your order details.

We’ll assess the problem and arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement or refund.

What if my order hasn’t arrived?

If your order appears to be taking longer than expected, please contact us with your order details and we’ll look into it.

Because orders are printed and dispatched through our print-on-demand partner, we may need to check the shipment with them before we can resolve the problem.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes.

If you’re a bookshop, gift shop, business or other organisation interested in stocking Wild Woman Press books, please get in touch through the Stockists & Wholesale page.

Wholesale orders are handled separately from individual website purchases and may have different pricing, quantities, payment and delivery arrangements.

If you are from a community group, women’s circle, book club etc and would like to buy a one-off group order, please email me.
